An Update. - 2008-02-22
I apologise for their not being a comic on wednesday, my internet was down. I also apologise for their not being one tonight, but that has nothing to do with the internet.
For those that have been here since the beggining, (all three of you) you might recall me saying that the mon-wed-fri update shedule was just a test to see if I could handle it.
This just in, I can't.
It is okay when I am not working, as I have plenty of time to put towards it, but if I am working a lot that week, doing the script, taking the photos, sketching and inking, then coloring eight panels in two days is too draining.
I get up at 5:30 in the morning to drive an hour to get to work, at which, I tend to spend upwards of 12 hours lifting and shifting furniture. Getting four hours of sleep because I was up all night working on the comic is not a safe way to stay alive when driving to work.
I have two solutions here. Either I cut down the updates, or cut down the panels in the comic themselves. As an experiment, I am going to gut down the panels in to comic from eight to four, a more standard size for a webcomic.
I will keep the mon-wed-fri shedule at the moment, as I hope that the cut down comic will make me not put my life so much in the danger in the mornings.
Unfortunately, having fewer panels means a wider comic, which means editing the code of the website. Which means I will have to do that this weekend, so no update for tonight. Apologies. Hopefully this editing of the comic will mean at least more regular updates and hopefully, better and more punchy comics.

These things take all of... five minutes to make though, so I have really no excuse.

To put it bluntly, I had a wee bit too much to drink last night. As such, no comic today. Apologies.

It is 9:30 at night and I have finished the comic. This is the earliest I have ever finished the comic when I the only thing I did yesterday was the script.

Sunday One Shots are just a quick little comic I slap together. There is no real plot or meaning, just something to break up the main comics.

A Wacom Found. - 2008-02-06
My wacom came in the mail, and though I am still getting used to using it, I am liking how speedy the process is now. Much faster then on paper, then scanning, cleaning the scan up, THEN coloring. All one set straight onto the photo. Very nice.
Another Day Down. - 2008-02-01
Well, I have bought a Wacom. Hopefully, the comic will get better looking and I will be able to knock these out faster when I get used to it.
Still coming in the mail though, so patience.
